About Chris Holmes

C.P. (Chris) Holmes is a retired executive with over 40 years of experience building successful heavy equipment distribution businesses across Canada and the United States in addition to advising and coaching high potential leaders.

Prior to retirement, Chris was the President and CEO of a multinational distributor of John Deere Construction, Roadbuilding, Forestry and Mining equipment overseeing over 850 employees generating revenues approaching one billion dollars. With vast experience in business development, operations, sales management, marketing, strategy & tactical development, technology integration and customer and product support, he has successfully led acquisitions, divestitures and financial turnarounds in addition to leading many high performing business operations. Chris has also served as President of a supplier board in addition to numerous advisory roles.

Since retirement, Chris’ experience and business development acumen has made him a sought after executive coach and mentor. With a passion for change management, Chris has a very successful track record enabling leaders and businesses to not only develop strategies and tactics needed to build a winning business, but to engage employees and teammates at multi levels in the organization to drive execution and results.
